Police Commemoration Day 2023 and Other Commemorative Events (22nd to 30th October 2023)

Commemorative Event organised by BSF at NPM on 23rd October 2023.

Around 150 students and family members of martyrs along with the BSF personnel participated in the Commemorative events at National Police Memorial in the morning of October 23, 2023. These included painting competition for students, paying homage to the martyrs at the Central sculpture of NPM, visit to National Police Museum with film screening on BSF and homage at the Wall of the Valour. Senior Officers of BSF interacted with the family members of the martyrs where the families were also felicitated.
In the evening, DG, BSF laid the wreath at the Central Sculpture of NPM and around 200 senior BSF officers, their family members and retired senior BSF officers paid homage to the martyrs. This was followed by band display & screening of the short films on Service, Sacrifice and Valour of the force displayed over the years and interaction with veterans of the force.
