Commemorative Event organised by ITBP at NPM on 29th October 2024.
Morning Event:
Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) held a commemorative event on 29th October 2024 at the National Police Memorial to honor the courageous martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The day began with a Blood Donation camp where 80 Himveers voluntarily donated blood at the National Police Memorial. Later, Families of Martyrs of ITBP along with around 250 ITBP personnel, their families and nearly 50 school children paid homage at Central Sculpture, Wall of Valour and visited the National Police Museum.
Evening Event:
The Director General of ITBP led the wreath-laying ceremony at the Central Sculpture, with around 275 ITBP personnel and their families in attendance. Family members of ITBP martyrs were honored by the DG in a heartfelt gesture of remembrance and respect. This was followed by an impressive band display and a movie showcasing the valor and sacrifices of ITBP personnel, leaving a profound impact on all present. The event concluded with the interaction of martyrs' families with the officers present.
