Police Commemoration Day 2024 and Other Commemorative Events (22nd to 30th October 2024)

Commemorative Event organised by RPF at NPM on 28th October 2024.

Morning Event:
Railway Protection Force (RPF) held a commemorative event on 28th October 2024 at the National Police Memorial to honor the courageous martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
Families of Martyrs of RPF along with around 225 RPF personnel and their families paid homage at Central Sculpture and Wall of Valour. They were given a tour of the National Police Museum.

Evening Event:
Hon'ble Minister of State for Railways Shri Ravneet Singh Bittu,
Ms Roopa Srinivasan, Member Finance, Railway Board
and Director General, Railway Protection Force paid floral tributes to the martyrs of Railway Protection Force. Thereafter, The Hon'able MoS led the wreath-laying ceremony at the Central Sculpture. Family members of RPF martyrs were facilitated by the Hon'ble Minister in a heartfelt gesture of remembrance and respect.
This was followed by release of 'Compendium of Martyrs in RPF' and an impressive band display and Beating Retreat Ceremony. A movie showcasing the valor and sacrifices of RPF personnel was also displayed. The event concluded with interaction of martyrs' families with the dignitaries present.
